This project consisted of a renovation of a 50,000 S.F. space of an existing 150,000 S.F. warehouse building into a new office, retail and storage facility for Bargreen Ellingson Food Service Facility. AXIS took advantage of the exposed wood ceilings, added new window openings, and used materials to create a vibrant, fun space for customers and employees. AXIS took unique approaches to leverage the exceptions in the energy and building code to provide current code compliance while retaining the much of the original building qualities, and avoid seismic upgrade issues.
